Under the arrangement the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus announced on 2 April 2026 for students from Pakistan (the consulate in Tehran is affected by the situation in Iran), the visa sticker is placed in the passport at the Embassy of Cyprus in Amman, where the applicant must appear in person. Pakistan passport holders need an e-visa to enter Jordan. Consular hours: Sunday to Thursday, 13:00 to 14:00.

After the official notification from your academic institution, send the entry visa application by e-mail to visa@mfa.gov.cy first. The visa sticker is then placed in your passport in person at the Embassy of Cyprus in Amman.

The e-mail must carry four things: the flight itinerary (travel through a legal port of entry of Cyprus, via Jordan), a clear copy of the passport data page, one recent colour photograph to ICAO standards, and the confirmation that the visa fee was paid by wire transfer.
