Estonia student visa: the official document checklist
In short: the Long-stay D visa for study, then temporary residence permit for study (if studies last longer than a year) for Estonia asks for 9 documents from every applicant, and 3 more when they apply to you. This list follows the official checklist of the Estonia authorities, read on 16 October 2026. (official source, checked 16 October 2026)
Where applicants in Pakistan submit: Book and submit the D-visa application in person at an Estonian foreign representation that handles visa applications (vm.ee list). Pakistan has no Estonian visa post on that list; the nearest listed posts include New Delhi and Abu Dhabi. After arrival, students staying over a year book a PPA service-office appointment for the temporary residence permit; the university usually sends its invitation directly to the PPA.
