South Korea student visa: the official document checklist

In short: the D-2 Student visa (D-2-2 bachelor, D-2-3 master, D-2-4 doctorate) for South Korea asks for 8 documents from every applicant, and 1 more when they apply to you. This list follows the official checklist the South Korea mission publishes for applicants in Pakistan, read on 16 October 2026. (official source, checked 16 October 2026)

Where applicants in Pakistan submit: Apply at the Korean Embassy in Islamabad (or the Karachi office for its area) after your university sends the Standard Certificate of Admission. The Korea Visa Portal notes the embassy may add or remove documents to suit local conditions. A single-entry visa valid 3 months is issued; stay up to 2 years on issue.
