Student Affairs Organization, Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (SAJAD system)
Confirms degrees and records from Iranian universities under the Ministry of Science so they can be officially translated. Service name on the official page: "Confirmation of academic records of students and graduates for official translation" (Service ID 18043269000).
Get the official translation and the Iranian Justice and Foreign Affairs stamps first.
Register on the TLScontact Tehran waiting list for legalisations.
Wait for TLScontact to give you an appointment, then hand in your papers there.
The embassy completes the legalisation; it is working in a restricted mode, so expect long waits.

VFS Global (the official GOV.UK centre finder links Iran to a VFS Global page). The British Embassy itself does not handle visas, and UK help in Iran is described by the FCDO as extremely limited. · Official booking
Apply and pay for the Student visa online first at https://www.gov.uk/student-visa/apply (the earliest is 6 months before your course starts).
After you apply, book a visit at the visa application centre through the VFS Global page.
Go to the centre on your appointment day to prove your identity (photo and fingerprints).
GOV.UK says you usually get a decision within 3 weeks.
No service in Iran: there is no US embassy in Iran, and entry for Iranian nationals is fully suspended (immigrant and non-immigrant, which includes student visas) under Presidential Proclamation 10998, in effect from 1 January 2026, with narrow exceptions.
Iranian citizens currently cannot get a normal US student visa because of the entry suspension.
Ask your US university's international office whether any exception or waiver could apply to you.
Do not pay anyone who promises a US visa appointment for Iranians.
No Canadian visa application centre in Iran. Apply online with IRCC; when you get a biometric instruction letter, give fingerprints and photo at a visa application centre in another country. · Official booking
Apply for your study permit online with IRCC.
Wait for your biometric instruction letter (BIL).
Iran is not on the list of centres, and the official page says that if there is no centre in your country you can go to any other centre.
Book on the website of the centre you choose, within 30 days of getting the letter.
Appointments are free; the official page says not to pay anyone for an appointment.

Create an ImmiAccount and apply online for the Student visa (subclass 500).
If biometrics are needed, Home Affairs tells you in writing.
Then give your biometrics at an Australian Biometric Collection Centre (find one through https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/help-support/contact-us/offices-and-locations).
German Embassy Tehran with TLScontact Tehran (waiting lists). The embassy works in a restricted mode and asks Iranians in Iran not to apply at other German missions. · Official booking
Get your papers ready: university admission, money proof (for example a blocked account), legalised translations of your degrees.
Register on the right TLScontact study waiting list: Students Master/PhD, Students Bachelor, or Studienkolleg and preparatory language course.
Wait: the embassy page says TLScontact is again giving appointments to people registered on these lists since 15 July 2026.
Family members going with you register separately on the embassy's family reunification waiting list.
Do not go to German missions in other countries; the embassy says it will not speed up your case.
