Malaysia student visa: the official document checklist

In short: the Student Pass via EMGS (Visa Approval Letter, then Single Entry Visa if needed, then Student Pass endorsement in Malaysia) for Malaysia asks for 9 documents from every applicant, and 1 more when they apply to you. This list follows the official checklist of the Malaysia authorities, read on 16 October 2026. (official source, checked 16 October 2026)

Where applicants in Pakistan submit: No embassy submission for the Student Pass: you or your institution apply online through EMGS while you are outside Malaysia. After the eVAL is approved, nationalities that need a visa apply for a Single Entry Visa through the eVISA portal. On arrival, do the medical check within 7 days; the institution then gets the pass endorsed by Immigration.
